From Minor Face Lifts to a Complete New Look, We Do It All:

There are many who have brick exteriors, which can be somewhat dark in appearance. However, a new trend over the past years has been to paint the exterior bricks a light color to enhance the look of the home. Something as simple as that can make a huge difference.

There are other cases where a complete new look is desired. Take for example the images below. You would not recognize this home in its original design: It was a light gray stucco affixed to plywood. The problem is that the stucco needs to be replaced around every five to six years. In 2009, the stucco had never been replaced, even though the house was built in 1996 - that's 13 years. When we viewed the exterior with an infrared camera, the moisture could be viewed around each of the windows and doors. In fact, the plywood was so soaked that the owner pushed his finger straight through the stucco and plywood into the insulation behind it with little effort. So, all of the plywood was removed and replaced with new, after which a moisture barrier was installed over the new wood. Then a steel mesh was affixed to the new wood, enabling concrete to grip onto the mesh. Then the cut rocks were pushed into the concrete and, after the entire front of the house was done and the concrete dried, grout filled the spaces between the rocks. What you see is the finished new exterior.
